There is a proper way to stand when you are catching. There is a relaxed stance and a ready stance. when you are in your relaxed stance you are usually calling the pitch. When you are in your ready stance you are usually getting ready to throw down to a base.
Blocking is important because a catchers job is to throw batters out at first, second, and third. Also to not let the ball get past them which is called blocking. How you block is by replacing your knees with your feet and letting the ball hit your chest. Then the ball should end up right in front of you.
Framing is just trying to get the ball to be a strike so if the pitch is outside you frame inside. If the pitch is inside you frame outside its not that complicated.
