Rabbits live in underground burrows. A group of burrows is called a warren. A rabbit burrow is an underground system of tunnels which run in several directions and contain nesting areas, runs and emergency exits.Rabbits are social animals and often live in small groups it's not uncommon to find a group of burrows linked together in a small area.

A cage, usually made out of wood or wire mesh to keep domestic pet rabbits in. a small building or dwelling place, such as a house or flat is where you would usually keep them. Rabbits don't volentarly live in cages but they keep them safe and that is the important thing.

Types of food

Basil, Bok choy, Broccoli leaves (stems or tops can make rabbits gassy), Carrot tops (carrots are high in calcium and should be given sparingly), Celery, Cilantro, Clover, and Collard greens are foods that rabbits eat. Foods that kill rabbits are Yogurt Drops, Bread, Pasta, Cookies, Crackers, Avocado, Cereal, Iceberg Lettuce, Silverbeet, Hamster Food, and Walnuts.

Rabbits require high amounts of fiber in their diet to prevent gastrointestinal disease and to provide a substrate for fermentation in the cecum to produce bacterial cells as a source of protein and B vitamins. Rabbit diets should contain a minimum of 14 percent fiber.

Types of predators

Domestic rabbits predators can be pet dogs, pet cats and foxes. Other types are weasels, ferrets, badgers, stoats and snakes. People are also predators of rabbits, I know it is sad but we eat rabbits. Rabbits can die from shock or a heart attack just because a predator is stalking around outside the hutch. When confronted by a predator the rabbit can get spooked and hert itself or die of shock.

How they defend themselves

Rabbits have keen senses of smell, sight and hearing, which help them defend themselves from danger. When they sense a nearby predator, they innately freeze in place to camouflage with the landscape. They could be attacked by cats (both domestic and wild), dogs, wolves, and birds of prey such as hawks and falcons. Even raccoons attack rabbits. They also can die simply from the stress of smelling or hearing a predator nearby, even if they aren't attacked.

Where in the world

Rabbit's habitats include meadows, woods, forests, grasslands, deserts and wetlands. More than half theworld's rabbit population resides in North America. They are also native to southwestern Europe, Southeast Asia, Sumatra, some islands of Japan, and in parts of Africa and South America. They are not naturally found in most of Eurasia, where a number of species of hares are there.

Where Do Rabbits Live Rabbits can be found everywhere, except of course the continent Antarctica. These creatures are mostly found in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Bunnies V.S. Rabbits

The same or different?

THE SAME! Bunnies and rabbits are the same. Bunny is a simply way of referring to a baby rabbit. Rabbits and bunnies are both rabbit species and are the same, but they are separated by age. Both have long ears, powerful back legs and a divided upper lip. Just one is older than the other one.

Bunny and rabbit facts

Happy rabbits practice a cute behavior known as a “binky:” they jump up in the air and twist and spin around! A baby rabbit is called a kit, a female is called a doe, and a male is a buck. A group of rabbits is called a herd. Rabbits are herbivores, eating a diet entirely of grasses and other plants. Rabbits and hares are “lagomorphs”, an order that also includes the pika, a small burrowing mammal that looks like a large mouse and lives in colder climates.Lagomorphs were originally classified as rodents, but in 1912 the distinction was made between them and rodents.

Good V.S. Bad for pets

Rabbits can't vomit, which isn't necessarily a good thing. You don't have to take rabbits for walks, but they need to be able to come out of their cages for several hours every day. Bunnies are excellent pets. They are great pets most of the time but there are a few bad things about them, like all pets. Anyone who thinks they are bad most likely hasn't prepared properly and done their homework before having a rabbit come to live with them. The important thing to understand about rabbits is that they behave differently, need a different diet, and require different care than other pets.
